Innovation Trophy 2009 for Xpectia (FZ3)
JULY 14, 2009 (FRANCE) -
Omron Electronics France has been awarded the Innovation Trophy
2009 by the national magazine Mesures for Xpectia (FZ3).
Omron’s Xpectia (FZ3) has been selected among its competitors as
the best innovative product for 2009 by the French magazine
Mesures. A jury composed of journalists and editors of the
magazine gathers each year in June to reward the major
innovations of the last 12 months. After a press conference held
in the Omron IAB French premises last October and followed by a
Japanese lunch and vision workshops, the journalist has been
impressed by the high performing and easy to handle Xpectia.
Important features were also that Omron launched the first 16
million colour system and that Xpectia was able to directly
process the images in colour, not needing any of the usual
filters.
The PMM for Vision Products in France Florent Poitrine has been
the happy recipient of the innovation trophy for the Industrial
Vision category, handed over by the Chief Editor of the magazine
Mr Y. Belgnaoui in the premises of the electric trade syndicate
in central Paris. A reception then followed, with champagne and
congratulations.
