Question
How can power consumption be known?
Answer
Problem:
The power consumption must be accurately known to manage energy savings
for ISO 14001, but the existing equipment requires additional wiring.
Also, data collection for each line is temporary, and so funds are not
available for wiring.
Solution:
Use data collection with a combination of the
WD30 DeviceNet Wireless Unit
and the KM20 Power Sensor.
Reason for Using This Wireless Device:
DeviceNet Slaves can be made wireless.
Advantages of Introduction: Wiring work and
costs will be reduced. The layout is unrestricted. New equipment can be
easily added to existing systems.
